Rail crack causes train delay on N-S Line during morning peak hour on Monday

A track fault on the North South Line caused long train delays during peak hour Monday evening.
Transport operator SMRT said the track fault affected northbound service between Somerset and Orchard stations.
Trains were travelling slower over that stretch as a safety precaution, it added.
In a tweet, it said that the track fault was "believed to be caused by a rail crack". Full story
