More parents are coming forward with possible abuse of their children at NTUC's My First Skool childcare centre in Toa Payoh

TR Emeritus, 9 Jul 2013
More than 10 parents with preschool children at NTUC Toa Payoh childcare centre My First Skool have asked for the resignation of its principal.
This is the childcare centre where a teacher has been arrested for allegedly abusing a three-year-old boy. Subsequently, two fathers each made a police report against it on suspicion that their child too had suffered abuse at the hands of the teacher.
According to Chinese evening paper LianHe WanBao, a group of about 10 parents have unanimously asked for the resignation of its principal during a briefing at the childcare centre yesterday morning (8 Jul).
The parent who spoke to WanBao on what transpired at the meeting was angry over the school’s delay in suspending the principal.
He is one of the parents who have lodged a police report against the childcare centre (‘More police reports lodged against NTUC childcare centre‘). He had found fingernail scratch marks on his daughter’s arm and suspected that she might have also been a victim of abuse at the same childcare centre. Full story
